What started as a vision by the members of the Wesley Green Team in the summer of 2022 has blossomed into a thriving ecosystem. Our Wild Pocket initiative aimed to attract living creatures, foster pollination, and create a sanctuary for local flora and fauna.

But that's not all! We are proud to share that our garden has been officially registered with the University of Illinois Extension Service Pollinator Pocket Project. Additionally, it has received the endorsement of the Faith In Place Green Team, led by the esteemed Rev. Cindy Shepherd. Rev. Shepherd even organizes public ambles around the pocket, offering everyone a chance to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature.
